PPHT and Post Basic Nursing Exams on May 21, Nearly 2000 Students to Appear

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, popularly known as Vyapam, is set to conduct the Pre-Pharmacy Test (PPHT-26) and Post Basic Nursing (PBN-26) examinations on May 21, 2026, across Raipur district. The examinations will be organized at 12 designated centers in the state capital, where nearly two thousand candidates are expected to appear.
According to official information, a total of 1,954 candidates have registered for the two competitive examinations. The PPHT examination will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM, while the Post Basic Nursing examination will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM on the same day.
To ensure smooth and secure conduct of the examinations, the district administration has completed all necessary preparations. Confidential examination materials will be distributed on the morning of May 21 at 7:30 AM from the District Treasury located at the Collector Complex in Raipur. Officials have been instructed to maintain strict security and confidentiality during the transportation and handling of examination-related documents.
The Raipur administration has also appointed senior officials to supervise the examination process. Deputy Collector Upendra Kindo has been designated as the nodal officer for the examinations. Meanwhile, Kedarnath Patel, Employment Officer of the Special Employment Office in Raipur, has been appointed as the assistant nodal officer. Both officers will oversee coordination among examination centers and ensure that all procedures are followed properly.
Authorities stated that arrangements related to security, candidate verification, seating plans, and monitoring teams have already been finalized. Candidates have been advised to reach their respective examination centers well before reporting time and carry all required documents, including admit cards and valid identity proof.
The PPHT examination is an important entrance test for students seeking admission to pharmacy courses in Chhattisgarh, while the Post Basic Nursing examination is conducted for candidates pursuing higher nursing education opportunities. With a large number of aspirants participating, the administration is focusing on conducting the examinations in a fair, transparent, and organized manner.
